FLATBED TOWING

A flatbed can carry the whole vehicle off the road, but the pickup still has to allow safe loading.

When to discuss a carrier

A flatbed may be suitable for a vehicle with drivetrain concerns, collision damage, low ride height, or a need to keep all wheels off the pavement. It is not automatically available or appropriate for every location.

Loading access matters

Tell the operator if the car is in a low garage, beside a curb, behind a gate, or unable to roll. Mention locked wheels, body damage, fluid leaks, or a steep incline. The operator may need additional equipment or a different plan.

Confirm protection and delivery

Ask how the vehicle will be loaded and secured, where it can be dropped off, and what the quote includes. Take a safe photo of its condition before transport if possible.
